Position Overview
The ERP Analyst will play a critical role in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the Infor Lawson ERP platform. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. Acting as a liaison between business and technical teams, the analyst will ensure that ERP solutions align with organizational goals while improving efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
ERP System Expertise
- Support and maintain Infor Lawson ERP modules, including Financials, HCM, SCM, and Payroll.
- Provide subject matter expertise on Lawson-related third-party applications such as MHC, Bottomline, BSI Tax Factory, Kronos, and ADP.
- Configure and customize applications using Landmark and Configuration Console to meet evolving business needs.
- Develop and maintain reports utilizing Crystal Reports, SQL, Java, HTML, and Excel Add-Ins.
System Maintenance & Upgrades
- Assist with testing, scripting, and implementing Lawson software patches, updates, and upgrades.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high system reliability.
- Safeguard data integrity across all Lawson modules through regular validation and quality checks.
Business & Functional Analysis
- Analyze workflows to identify process improvement opportunities within the ERP system.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for system enhancements.
- Support ERP-related projects, including requirements gathering, testing, and documentation.
- Deliver actionable insights through data analysis and custom reporting.
Collaboration & Communication
- Serve as a liaison between HR, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain departments.
- Partner with stakeholders to design and implement workflow automation and process efficiencies.
- Provide training, documentation, and end-user support to maximize system utilization.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years as an ERP or Financial Analyst (Infor Lawson ERP experience highly preferred).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, budgeting principles, and financial controls.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to adapt to evolving business requirements and shifting project priorities.
- Experience with ERP project management and change management is preferred.
- Exposure to cloud-hosted ERP environments and integrations is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar tools is preferred.
