Location: must live in Texas or Louisiana and be prepared to travel 25% of the time..( Could be one of the following cities: Houston TX., Baton Rouge, LA., Houma, LA., or Baton Rouge, LA.,)

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically adept HRIS Business Analyst to support and optimize our client's Human Resources Information Systems. This role will play a key part in the transition from Microsoft Great Plains to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). While prior D365 experience is not required, candidates must demonstrate the ability to learn new systems and bring experience with comparable platforms.

The analyst will serve as a liaison between HR, IT, and other business units to ensure HRIS solutions align with business needs, streamline HR processes, and maintain data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to gather and document business requirements for HRIS enhancements and new implementations.
  • Analyze current HR processes and recommend improvements using HRIS capabilities.
  • Configure, test, and deploy HRIS modules and updates.
  • Perform regular system audits to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and security.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to end-users.
  • Develop and deliver training and documentation for HRIS applications.
  • Generate and analyze HR reports to support decision-making and compliance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers for system upgrades and integrations.
  • Stay informed on HRIS trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP, D365).
  • Experience with HR functions such as payroll, benefits, recruiting, and performance management.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and data analysis tools.
