Join a Leading Wireless Network Team as an RF Engineer III
We're a cutting-edge telecommunications company seeking an experienced RF Engineer III to join our innovative team. This role focuses on RF design and project management for macro, small cell, and in-building wireless networks. You'll drive performance, process improvement, and network optimization through expert use of RF tools and data analysis.
Position: RF Engineer III
Contract Length: 2.5 years
Location: Walnut Creek CA
Work Setup: Hybrid
RF Engineer III Responsibilities
Lead RF design and project management for wireless network expansions and enhancements
Analyze coverage and capacity requirements to optimize wireless performance
Develop and maintain tracking systems for milestones, issues, and progress reporting
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including real estate, construction, and design
Automate workflows and create actionable visualizations using tools like Tableau and Python
Perform regulatory work including FAA/FCC filings, zoning packages, and RFE compliance
Use propagation and mapping tools (Atoll, QGIS, MapInfo, Google Earth) for RF modeling
Interface with performance teams to improve network KPIs
RF Engineer III Qualifications
7 10 years of experience in RF engineering and wireless network design
Advanced experience with Atoll and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong project management and data analysis skills; proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Python a plus
Familiarity with Fuze, Roofmaster, Ericsson performance tools, Visual Basic, Visio desirable
Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and organizational abilities
Proven success managing multiple priorities and leading cross-functional efforts
