Senior Backend Software Engineer
W2 Contract
Salary Range: $166,400 - $187,200 per year
Location: Sunnyvale, CA - Onsite Role
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 10 years of programming experience in C++, Java, or Go
- Experience in large-scale system designs and implementation on service-oriented infrastructure
- Experience in databases (at minimum SQL familiarity with SQL language, integrating DB into services)
- Able to operate with minimum supervision and solve ambiguous problems
- Experience in automating change rollout
- Experience with protocol buffers and gRPC or Stubby
Desired Skills:
- Experience in integrating and software development of Control devices such as PLC and Relays
- Experience and passion in understanding 3rd party applications and identifying integration methods to in-house services via APIs
- Experience in syslog and log processing applications such as Logtash, SNMP, and Single Sign-On (SSO) protocols
- Passion for quality and appreciation of overall system reliability
