RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Durham, CA that is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer.
Responsibilities:
* Application development using Java EE, Spring or Springboot
* Relational databases like Oracle, Postgres or no-SQL databases such as MongoDB
* Understanding of and experience with Micro-Services Architecture concepts and emerging patterns such as APIs, JAX-RS, REST/JSON
* Event driven transaction processing using EAI, ESB and messaging patterns using technologies such as Kafka, MQ, etc.
* CI/CD tools such as Maven, Git/Stash, Jenkins, Nexus, uDeploy, Docker, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
* Demonstrable experience of Java, Java Script, Spring, Spring Boot or similar frameworks
* Experience making use of Angular, Cascading Style Sheets CSS3 features & CSS frameworks to implement responsive web design
* Experience of consuming and designing RESTful APIs, and good knowledge of standard methodologies in API design
* Knowledge in most of the following: GIT, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit, Docker, JMeter, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode, Concourse and AWS Cloud
* Experience in SCRUM or other agile development processes
* Knowledge of writing automated tests using a testing framework such as Protractor or other
* Experience with DevOps
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
