Job Description
You will be a Staff Engineer leading the PATRIOT Advanced Capability III (PAC-3) Field Missile Activity (FMA) at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team is responsible for sustaining the PAC-3 missiles in the United States and international partner locations, and you will play a key role in leading a diverse field team to perform software upgrades, integration, and testing.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Staff Engineer and FMA Lead, you will be responsible for leading a field team to sustain the PAC-3 missiles, performing software upgrades, integration, and testing. You will also be responsible for communicating with the customer, managing field team logistics, preparing for and leading meetings, and supporting the completion and delivery of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) artifacts.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading a diverse field team to sustain the PAC-3 missiles
Performing software upgrades, integration, and testing
Communicating with the customer, field team logistics, and other stakeholders
Preparing for and leading meetings
Supporting the completion and delivery of CDRLs artifacts
Reviewing and approving test plans/procedures for system and sub-system integration
Maintaining and implementing field installation, integration, and test schedules
Coordinating with the customer before, during, and after scheduled field events
Delivering completion reports to the program, customer, and logistics departments
Keeping the field team staffed, trained, and adaptable to support customer requirements

Deliver effective customer presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details.
Demonstrate awareness of test equipment management including function, calibration and security requirements.
Verify that test data is recorded and cataloged appropriately.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
