Job Summary:Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end code delivery cycle within an Agile environment, selecting appropriate tools and methodologies to implement and support technical solutions across a wide range of development technologies.
- Manage build and deployment processes for applications running in a hybrid cloud setup.
- Conduct root cause analysis to resolve production issues.
- Support and coordinate product deployments, patches, and upgrades.
- Optimize workflows, pipelines, and related processes to improve efficiency.
- Handle release management activities including branching, versioning, tagging, and event hook configurations.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred.
- Equivalent technical certifications and relevant professional experience may be considered in place of a degree.
Certifications (Preferred)
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
- Microsoft Azure Developer Associate
- Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert
- Docker Certified Associate
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator
Required Experience
- At least 7+ years of combined experience in Development and DevOps, including work with major Cloud Service Providers (Azure & AWS preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes, as well as logging and monitoring tools.
- Strong background with infrastructure delivery and management technologies.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, and automation platforms like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or SaltStack.
- Previous containerization experience using Docker and Kubernetes (or other container orchestration tools).
- Practical knowledge of scripting languages.
Required Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
- Ability to document, communicate technical details, and provide guidance to stakeholders on operations, performance, workflow analysis, inventory management, and file handling.
- Familiarity with monitoring practices and troubleshooting techniques.
