Your role

As a Applications Engineer - Portable Power, your role is to support the Applications Manager in developing the business for energy storage systems, generators, and light towers in the United States and Canada. You will report to the Applications Manager, Portable Power..
  • You will provide agile technical response and support for 6-10 Regional Sales Managers and 2-4 Key accounts.
  • You will conduct hands-on training for key customers on energy storage systems, generators, light towers and hybrid solutions, including national rental company and specialized power dealers.
  • You will maintain the materials and customer master and the discount structure as well ad updating the checklist and toolbox functions in Showpad.
  • You will develop level planning and forecasting for equipment needed in the market to prepare stock planning and the pipeline.
  • You will provide reporting and communication to the Regions on lead time and orders on hand (OOH)

  • A college degree in electrical engineering or similar through a combination of education and experience.
  • Customer Relationship Management: You effectively manage and improve customer relationships, ensuring long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Customer Support: You provide exceptional support to customers, addressing their concerns and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • After Sales Support: You deliver excellent post-purchase support, maintaining customer satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
  • Detail-Oriented: You exhibit a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks, from documentation to communication.
  • Troubleshooting: You are adept at identifying and solving technical and procedural issues, minimizing downtime and enhancing customer experience.

Option 2: Hybrid

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our facility located at 1059 Paragon Way, Rock Hill, SC

NOTE: This position requires extensive travel (up to 60% of the time) in the United States and Canada.
