We have several reputable client organizations who are looking for a skilled and experienced Infrastructure Platform Manager to join a long-term project. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills, with a proven ability to coordinate and manage projects effectively.

The Infrastructure Architecture Manager will provide technical and managerial leadership, ensuring the strategic development, execution, and optimization of infrastructure technologies. This position requires strong leadership, budgeting expertise, and a deep understanding of modern infrastructure platforms and best practices.

Position Summary:

  • Lead the strategic planning, design, and execution of the company s IT infrastructure to meet current and future business needs.
  • Define and implement a roadmap for infrastructure operating and capital planning.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technology trends, integrating best practices into infrastructure operations.
  • Manage a multi-million-dollar infrastructure budget, ensuring financial accountability and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and governance frameworks for infrastructure administration and project management.
  • Directly manage and provide leadership to a team of network engineers, cloud engineers, DevOps engineers, and voice specialists.
  • Define the team structure, roles, and responsibilities, ensuring a high-performance culture
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop talent, fostering a team-oriented, collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee relationships with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors, negotiating contracts and service agreements.
  • Oversee the design, maintenance, and development of infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs, cloud platforms, voice networks, and security frameworks.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of enterprise IT systems.
  • Establish and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with business units.
  • Lead incident management, troubleshooting, and Level 3 support for critical infrastructure issues.
  • Implement infrastructure security measures to safeguard enterprise systems and data.
  • Ensure compliance with local, federal, and industry regulations related to IT infrastructure.
  • Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and vulnerability testing to maintain system integrity.
  • Establish best practices for IT asset management, ensuring accurate tracking and lifecycle management.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience managing IT infrastructure and delivering operational excellence.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience, managing high-performing infrastructure teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale IT projects on time and within budget.

Hands-on expertise with network and cloud platforms, including:

  • TCP/IP, BGP,EIGRP, Cisco, SD-WAN, Meraki
  • Microsoft Azure and AWS
  • Voice & Contact Center Technologies
  • Familiarity with GitLab, DevOps methodologies, and cloud automation tools.
  • Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
  • Background in network engineering highly preferred.
  • Expertise in infrastructure security, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
