Product Owner

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Owner with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maximizing the value for a product
• Key responsibilities include defining the vision and roadmap for the product, defining and prioritizing stories in the product backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team
• Work closely with the stakeholders to understand their needs, and with the Product Manager in a scaled Agile model, to ensure there is alignment
• Lead and design application-based projects for an enterprise wide treasury and credit application
• Lead others or may be led depending upon project priorities and functionality
• Work with business to understand requirements and architecture leads to develop a strategic design and roadmap
• Responsible for delivery of project into production
• Develop an understanding of stakeholder needs to help create a solution, envisions the solution to solve a problem (manual or through software)
• Analyze the stakeholder process to build efficiencies and also analyzes the software to improve or implement that process
• Gather and catalog functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests
• Analyze functional and data requirements
• Assists users and development team with application testing and troubleshooting
• Identify, document and troubleshoot application related problems
• Document process, procedures and workflows associated with applications
• Create and maintain training materials for end-users

Requirements:

• Possess a working knowledge of the product, and basic understanding of the business and/or technology domain
• Able to understand very complex systems and utilize development patterns to develop key components in a clustered and multithreaded environment which is highly scalable with continued good performance
• Self-driven, communicate well and work well on a team of other developers
• Kanban, Agile, Scrum, JIRA

Pay range: $49.46 - $57.46
