Business Process Engineer (Guidewire)

The Business Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and continually improving business processes within the Omni Specialty Products Modernization team to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support organizational goals. This role requires strong domain expertise in Personal Lines Insurance and agile execution experience.

This role focuses on the end-to-end lifecycle of process optimization and modernization:

• Process Mapping & Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to current business operations (As-Is models) to identify bottlenecks, waste, and areas for improvement.
• Requirements & IT Execution: Lead work through all phases of IT development, including creating detailed business requirements and ensuring successful Agile IT execution.
• System Implementation: Assist in the design and implementation of new systems or modifications to existing systems necessary for process automation and efficiency gains.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments on proposed and existing processes to mitigate potential operational and compliance failures.
• Documentation & Training: Document new standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical specifications, and develop training programs for staff on new procedures and systems.

Candidates will have Personal Lines Insurance experience with a Target for Umbrella Insurance.

Experience with the Guidewire Policy Center platform Agile IT execution, creating business requirements and leading work through all phases of IT development,

Platform Expertise: Experience with the Guidewire Policy Center platform is mandatory.

Methodology: Strong practical experience with Agile IT execution.
