Job Description:

Intro:

We're looking for a Data Infrastructure Engineer who's passionate about transforming operational data into reliable, high-impact business intelligence. In this role, youll collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to build scalable data systems, uncover insights, and improve strategic decision-making. It's a fast-paced team with a strong sense of ownership, and a mission to raise the bar for data reliability and analysis.

Job Description:
  • Partner with engineering and business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into robust, scalable infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain mechanisms to retrieve, aggregate, and deliver high-quality operational data for downstream analytics.
  • Continuously optimize data performance and address challenges in extract, transform, load (ETL) pipelines.
  • Investigate anomalies in reporting data, identify root causes, and implement fixes that improve overall system trust.
  • Maintain data integrity and lead with best practices in test design, validation, documentation, and quality assurance.


Must-Haves:
  • Proficiency in SQL for complex data queries and performance optimization.
  • Experience in one or more scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or Node.js.
  • Familiarity with modern data architecture tools like Glue, Firehose, Lambda, or other event-driven pipeline systems.
  • A commitment to excellence in data quality, observability, and continuous improvement.
  • Clear communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.


Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, data infrastructure, or business intelligence development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or related technical field.
  • Strong understanding of operational datasets and building data products that scale.
  • Previous exposure to large, complex data ecosystems and distributed environments.
