Job Summary:
The Moongsoft Engineer (Level 3) is responsible for designing and supporting Moongsoft monitoring solutions across enterprise environments. This role serves as a technical expert, handling complex incidents, leading integrations, and optimizing monitoring platforms to ensure high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain Moongsoft (Moogsoft) monitoring and event management solutions
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex monitoring and alerting issues
Integrate Moongsoft with ITSM tools, cloud platforms, and monitoring sources
Tune alerts, reduce noise, and improve event correlation and automation
Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to improve observability
Provide technical guidance to L1/L2 engineers and contribute to documentation
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years in IT monitoring, event management, or observability roles
Hands-on experience with Moongsoft/Moogsoft AIOps platform
Strong knowledge of Linux, APIs, integrations, and scripting (Python, Bash)
Experience with cloud and enterprise monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Acts as a subject-matter expert and escalation point
Drives continuous improvement in monitoring strategy
