Job Details

Piper Companies is seeking a Data Analyst highly skilled with collecting, processing, and analyzing data to uncover insights and support informed decision-making within an organization. The ideal Data Analyst will be hybrid 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in Durham, NC .

Requirements for the Data Analyst include:

Identify improvement opportunities by collaborating with business leaders and users.

Lead discussions with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and pain points.

Establish KPIs to measure and track business effectiveness.

Work with analysts and associates to process and analyze information.

Create process flows for business procedures and evaluate potential system enhancements.

Prioritize multiple projects, manage the issue backlog, and communicate with end users as a system expert.

Qualifications for the Data Analyst include:

5+ years of experience working hands on with SQL and Power BI.

2+ years of experience in the insurance field, life/annuity preferred.

Worked with SSIS

Strong understanding of R and Python

Ability to work with multiple projects at once

Communicate and document requirements from business stakeholders and technical leaders

Bachelors degree in computer information systems or related field, Masters preferred.

Must be able to hold a security clearance in the US

Compensation for the Data Analyst includes:

Salary range: $120,000 - $140,000
