Job Details
The Business Analyst II is responsible foroverall operations of one or more Energy Transition Product Lines including initial product deployment and ongoing operations. Ensure success in deployment of new equipment, tracking of active rental equipment, rental equipment remobilization, demobilization & stacking of inactive equipment.
It is the objective of this group to ensure Energy Transition products are delivered and perform as promised to the customer through closely working with internal orgs such as NET-S, Canrig Feld Service, Training, RIGLINE 24/7, Nabors NDUSA & NDIL, and NDS along with external orgs including 3rd party customers & service providers.
Canrig ET Product Operations
- Assist in planning and executing initial product deployments and re-mobilization efforts to optimize operational readiness.
- Lead cross-functional coordination to ensure appropriate field coverage and resource allocation based on real-time operational demands.
- Facilitate customer trial and startup operations by coordinating activities across key functions, including Field Service, Drilling Operations, Engineering, and external partners.
- Collaborate with internal training teams to develop and deliver training materials; manage field training programs to support new deployments and upskill person
- Partner with geomarket teams to identify regional operational needs, performance gaps, and opportunities for ET technology deployment.
- Participate in customer performance reviews and quarterly performance reviews (QPRs) to assess product performance, identify improvement areas, and highlight successes
- Manage demobilization and stacking logistics for ET rental products to support efficient and cost-effective redeployment.
- Track active job activity, trials, and resource utilization; provide forward-looking operational support planning in collaboration with internal stakeholders and geomarkets.
- Collaborate with Finance to monitor P&L performance and ensure accurate billing for Canrig ET product operations.
- Support and coordinate end-to-end operational activities for the Canrig ET Product Line, ensuring alignment with business goals and field requirements.
Customer Loyalty
- Build strong relationships with customers based on thorough understanding of ESG & ET initiatives/goals, economic & operational requirements, and the application of Canrig ET Products
- Enhance customer satisfaction and product value by integrating Canrig ET offerings into client workflows, leveraging data and analytics to track performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Sales Support
- Partner with account and operations managers to provide technical and operational support during customer engagements, including product presentations, training sessions, and sales calls.
- Analyze customer needs and operational data to identify, validate, and qualify opportunities for application of NDS technologies

- Strong analytical skills; Demonstrated ability to develop analysis spreadsheets and reports
- Interact with people and different groups efficiently and professionally to ensure large scale projects are completed successfully.
- Thorough understanding of drilling equipment, the drilling process, and the mechanics/physics involved in the drilling industry.
- Highly proficient with MS Excel: management of large data sets, complex graphs and reports, automated analysis through VBA.
- Effective verbal and written communicator.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum, Industrial).
- 3 - 4 years of experience in drilling operations or equipment in a Project Engineer, or Operations Business Analyst role
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS
- Occasional field and rig-up yard operations require outdoor work duties of overseeing equipment testing, deployments, maintenance, and general operations that may require standing for extended periods of time and in Inclement weather conditions.
- Occasional work required outside of standard business hours
- Occasional Domestic and International travel will be required (less than 20% of time)
