SUMMARY:



We are looking for a skilled and innovative Full Stack Developer to join our client's technology team that can work remotely anywhere in the United State. This role offers the opportunity to play a key role in developing, enhancing, and optimizing our digital platforms. As part of our dynamic technology organization, you'll contribute to cutting-edge projects that drive our digital presence forward.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Full Stack Development & Backend Systems:



  • Develop and maintain WordPress-based websites using custom themes and plugins

  • Desing and implement custom WordPress functionality using PHP

  • Manage MySQL databases for data storage and retrieval

  • Configure and maintain Linux/Ubuntu and Nginx servers

  • Develop front-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Vue.js

  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness

  • Monitor and optimize site performance, SEO, Core Web Vitals, and web accessibility


Advertising & Monetization:



  • Implement and manage advertising integrations using Google Ad Manager and programmatic advertising

  • Optimize ad placements for viewability and revenue generation

  • Integrate tracking pixels and analytics tools

  • Collaborate with marketing teams on sponsored content and branded experiences


Mobile & Cross-Platform Development:



  • Ensure seamless web-to-app integrations

  • Implement mobile-first development strategies and Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)

  • Manage mobile ad SDKs, push notifications, and authentication APIs


Technical & Security Responsibilities:



  • Integrate third-party APIs (social media, advertising, analytics)

  • Maintain WordPress security through updates and vulnerability patching

  • Implement caching and performance optimization strategies

  • Manage version control and deployments using Git

  • Participate in Agile development processes




REQUIRE QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:




  • 5+ years of experience of full stack development (web, app, mobile) experience

  • Strong backend development skills in PHP (8.3) and general coding skills with OOP principles

  • Expertise with WordPress Framework (6.7.1) and ability to create WordPress customizations and plugins

  • Proficiency with client-side/front-end programming languages HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript as well as a demonstrated understanding of UX/UI principles

  • Strong understanding of relational databases and skills with MySQL (8) database management

  • Deep understanding of Linux and Ubuntu (24.04) server management and administration, including Nginx server administration

  • Knowledge of caching systems (Redis, Memcached)

  • Ability to create and maintain APIs from scratch such as RESTful and GraphQL API development experience

  • Knowledge of server-side rendering (Next.js, Nuxt.js) and microservices architecture.

  • Experience and ability to develop web and mobile applications in a public cloud environment (AWS preferred) and experience with Cloud hosting services



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:




  • Experience developing and maintaining monetized websites

  • Proficiency in digital advertising technologies

  • Experience in broadcast media, television, radio, or digital publishing environments.

  • Spanish-speaking

  • Website security expertise

  • Analytics platforms proficiency

  • A/B testing and CRO understanding

  • Social media marketing pixels implementation experience

  • Cloud hosting services experience

  • Experience working on news websites

  • Proven track record of mobile-friendly development

  • Experience in broadcast media, television, radio, or digital publishing environments.

  • Familiarity with analytics, audience measurement, and first-party data platforms.

  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
