We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to support our Checkout team, focused on enhancing both digital and in-store experiences. This role involves shaping a new employee-led checkout process, blending physical and digital touch points. The ideal candidate is excited to own complex, cross-functional initiatives, from in-store research to high-velocity digital flows. Frequent in-store research is a key component of this position; reliable transportation is necessary.


Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end checkout experiences across digital and physical environments

  • Lead in-store testing and field research to validate concepts and uncover insights

  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, ops, and product teams to implement a teammate-assisted checkout flow

  • Balance multiple initiatives—digital optimization, in-store workflows, and long-term strategy

  • Translate research findings into clear, actionable design decisions

  • Use and contribute to the stores design system pattern library


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to lead user research, including fieldwork and in-store testing

  • Ability to test and learn in a retail environment

  • Skilled at navigating ambiguity, balancing trade-offs, and delivering high-quality outcomes

  • Strong communicator and collaborator, comfortable working with multiple stakeholders

  • Proficient in Figma component libraries, auto layout, design tokens, and scalable systems

  • (Bonus) Experience in retail and designing operational experiences
