Job Description

The Data Policy Analyst is responsible for leading and contributing to the development of organization-wide data governance, data management, and related data policies and procedures for government clients. This includes analyzing current data policies, procedures, and standards, and drafting new / updating existing policies, procedures, standards, and related documents. The candidate will demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.

What You Will Do:
  • Contribute to teams' support to client's development of data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Interface with client project personnel regarding policy development issues, and deliver, present, and support working level and strategic level client meetings.
  • Identify potential data policies and procedures required by the client, and work with a team to draft those policies and procedures and to communicate them within a government agency.
  • Support strategic efforts to revise the client's data policy and procedures program.
  • Attend meetings with stakeholders to understand current and emerging data policy issues and provide appropriate policy-focused responses to them.
What You Will Need:

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of work experience
  • Educational experience related to data governance, data management, and/or data policy
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 3+ years of data policy experience
  • Strong foundational knowledge in data governance and data management
  • Prefer experience working with US Government clients
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong ability to work both independently and within a team environment
