Our Challenge:

We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Architect with extensive AWS Cloud experience to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in .NET technologies, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices to drive innovative solutions aligned with business goals.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.

In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC/ Piscataway, NJ is $125-$135K/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design:
  Lead the architecture and design of distributed, cloud-native applications using .NET technologies, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Cloud Integration:
  Develop and implement cloud strategies leveraging AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and others.
• Solution Development:
  Collaborate with development teams to create robust, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices and design patterns.
• Technical Leadership:
  Provide technical mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and quality guidelines.
• Migration & Deployment:
  Plan and execute cloud migration strategies, including lift-and-shift and modernization initiatives, utilizing AWS tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Security & Compliance:
  Ensure applications comply with security standards, implement best practices for data protection, identity management, and access control in AWS.
• Performance Optimization:
  Monitor and optimize application performance and resource utilization in the cloud environment.
• Documentation & Governance:
  Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and establish governance frameworks to guide development and deployment processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of .NET experience with 5+ years of experience in architecture, specifically with .NET technologies (.NET Core, ASP.NET, C#).
• Strong expertise in designing and deploying applications on AWS cloud platform.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and IAM.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and database design.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect (plus if applicable, but primarily AWS focus).
