Entry-level to experienced, but still a learner typically with an advanced degree and 0-1+ year experience or bachelors degree and 0-3+ years experience or equivalent; solves problems of limited to moderate scope and complexity, work is closely supervised following established policies and procedures or under very general supervision; contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor and within company or group but may be external as well; errors in judgment would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.

Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA). Candidate will be responsible to maintain DoD 8570 certification for the full contract period.

Minimum Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Sound knowledge of Network concepts: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, network management and monitoring

Sound knowledge of management and monitoring tools and techniques for various network infrastructure components and services

Knowledge of monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools - Virtualization technologies such a VMWare vCenter and vSphere.

Sound knowledge and practical experience with remote access software such as SSH, RDP, FTP, SCP

Sound knowledge with OSPF, Cisco IOS and JUNOS commands and troubleshooting

Experience in Windows Server maintenance.

Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The selected candidate will be part of a team that reports to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO) and performs daily system monitoring, operations and maintenance of the C2BMC network systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment. The candidate will provide first level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC network hardware and software. The candidate will document and report all events/issues to the CWO and receive tasking and direction from the CCC for all operations, test & real world events. The candidate will also assist in all network hardware/software installations as directed by the local SMEs and create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO.
