.Net MAUI/WPF Developer - Contractor

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a skilled .Net MAUI/WPF Developer - Contractor to join their team in building cross-platform desktop and mobile applications. This role requires a hybrid onsite presence at the Client site every other week (Monday-Friday), local to Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities:
* Design and develop cross-platform applications using .NET MAUI, WPF, and XAML for desktop and mobile environments
* Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+
* Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences
* Implement and manage component lifecycle, hooks, and state management using patterns like Redux and Context API
* Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across platforms

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience with .NET MAUI, WPF, and XAML for desktop and mobile development
* Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+ for backend API development
* Solid understanding of component lifecycle, hooks, and state management (e.g., Redux, Context API)
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
