Project Duration : This is a 12 months contract with potential to extend highly likely
Pay Rate : $17.00/hr. on W2
Hours : 1:00 PM 9:30 PM
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection and testing of purchased materials, components, and products according to documented policies and procedures.
- Record inspection and test data as prescribed by written instructions and procedures.
- Operate associated test and measurement equipment as instructed and documented in procedures.
- Document non-conformances in the Non-Conforming Material Review (NCMR) system.
- Conduct testing and inspection in accordance with special test requests.
- Collect data for First Article Inspections (FAI).
- Participate in Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) studies as directed by engineers or technicians.
- Assist in gathering, analyzing, and trending data for quality improvement initiatives.
Additional Duties:
- Recommend changes to policies and procedures; may prepare and submit change requests.
- Train other inspectors as needed.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as required in support of department goals.
- Support all Divisional initiatives as identified by management, including compliance with:
- Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
- Other regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO).
