Description

SAIC is seeking a MCIS Systems Administrator to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA.

Responsibilities:
  • Account & Email Creation: Responsible for creating and managing user accounts and email addresses
  • Active Directory Management: Handle Active Directory tasks, including user management, group policy enforcement, and organizational unit (OU) structure
  • Network, Software, and Hardware Troubleshooting:
  • Submit port requests or configuration change requests.
  • Troubleshoot physical connections and hardware issues.
  • Provide basic helpdesk support for users.
  • Trusted Agent (TA) Duties:
  • Responsible for resetting PINs or issuing tokens

Qualifications

Required Education:
  • High School diploma and six (6) years or more of related experience; per program specifications, a Bachelor's degree will not be accepted in lieu of experience.

Required Clearance:
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI Security Clearance.

Qualifications:
  • Must have at least 6 years' experience in a Systems Administration role.
  • Proven experience in managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and other directory services.
  • Strong knowledge of facility management processes, logistics operations, and DoD compliance procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to various audiences.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, ensuring operational efficiency.
