Senior QA Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to establish and lead our quality assurance function. This is a highly visible role where you will define the QA strategy, set up automation frameworks, and ensure quality across web-based applications and ERP integrations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in environments with minimal direction and can take ownership of building QA practices from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Lead QA efforts across multiple applications (web portals, ERP integrations, APIs).
- Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks and testing strategies.
- Drive both manual and automated testing efforts.
- Partner with business analysts, developers, and end-users to capture requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Leverage tools such as Postman (for APIs) and Selenium (for UI) to build reusable test suites.
- Perform integration testing for ERP and third-party systems through APIs.
- Create POCs, set up environments, and establish test documentation and processes.
- Mentor and collaborate with stakeholders to instill QA best practices across the organization.
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Proven expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Postman, or similar).
- Strong background in manual testing and QA methodologies.
- Experience with web-based applications and API/integration testing.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a lean environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with cross-functional teams.
