  • Education - Bachelors or Master's degree required.
  • 10+ years of professional technology experience with a minimum 5+ years of architecture experience in Data, Databases and Analytics and experience in Mainframe space is a plus.

responsibilities:


  • Demonstrate critical thinking and ability to analyze business domain, direction and problems, understand long term vision and risk in developing strategic technical solutions.
  • Ability to formulate Data Strategy, Conceptual Architecture and work with development teams to complete the strategy.


qualifications:


  • Experience with data management practice including data integration, data governance & security, data warehousing, data analytics, data models, metadata management and data quality
  • Solid understanding to various architecture and patterns such as API and Microservices architecture, Event Driven Architecture, client-server patterns etc
  • Experience in building prototypes, driving Pilot and PoCs, and exploring new solutions and options
  • Strong scripting and language knowledge with Python, Unix Shell or Java etc
  • Experience working on RDBMS databases such as Oracle, Postgres SQL and Cloud databases such as Snowflake
  • Experience working on distributed SQL database such as Cockroach, Yugabyte etc.
  • Experience working on low latency distributed database NoSql databases such as DynamoDB, Aerospike or Redis
  • Experience developing application and data solutions using cloud platforms (AWS/Azure, AWS EKS, EMR, EC2, S3 etc.)
  • Experience in Reporting and Business Intelligence tools like PowerBI, Tableau etc.
  • Demonstrate ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.

  • Experience working with data engineers and data scientists to implement integrations, AI/ML models deployments and pipelines
  • Superb communication and facilitation skills with ability to communicate complex designs and solutions to non-technical and highly technical audiences alike.
  • Good interpersonal, negotiating, and influencing skills with a demonstrable ability to engage at all levels of the organization, especially team and management.
