Job Title: Events and Campaign Marketing Manager
Location: Remote
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract


Job Summary:

We are seeking a collaborative and strategic Events and Campaign Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives across high-impact Cloud Learning channels including flagship events (e.g., Google Cloud Next), community outreach, social engagement, and campaign execution. In this cross-functional role, you ll partner closely with Cloud Learning and Google Cloud Global Marketing teams to build cohesive strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and impact across audiences and channels. This position calls for a mix of creativity, project leadership, stakeholder alignment, and executional excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the end-to-end strategy and execution for Cloud Learning s presence across key marketing channels including events, social media, communities, and campaigns
  • Own the execution of global event activations such as Google Cloud Next and I/O Connect, ensuring always-on engagement with targeted audiences
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across Cloud Marketing, Corporate Communications, Engineering, Product, PR, and Sales to align messaging and ensure narrative cohesion
  • Influence internal and external teams to deliver exceptional go-to-market programs aligned with Cloud Learning s skilling objectives
  • Lead campaign development, audience targeting, and content placement across paid, earned, and owned channels
  • Partner with communications teams to harmonize storytelling, brand positioning, and channel strategy
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of channel strategy using key performance metrics and user feedback


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in event management and marketing, ideally in tech or cloud environments
  • Proven track record in cross-team collaboration, partner management, and stakeholder alignment
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, scoping requirements, and contributing to strategic planning


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated thought leadership in marketing campaign development and execution
  • Strong relationship-building skills across internal/external stakeholder ecosystems
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to challenge assumptions and drive execution in fast-paced environments
  • Analytical mindset with experience translating data into insights and actionable recommendations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident executive presence
  • Familiarity with cloud marketing trends and the learning and skilling ecosystem
