Pay Range: $37 - $44/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • This is an open position for an IT Support Analyst on the Optic, Payments/Credit, and DEX technology teams.
  • Responsible for all aspects of supporting the setup, installation, support and monitoring of Payment Terminals and related hardware, software, and databases; conducts monitoring and reviews;
  • Prepares documentation and specifications for installations; performs testing related to troubleshooting issues.
  • Directs field personnel in installing new payment terminal equipment and related hardware and software
  • Provides accurate verbal instruction for diagnostics or installation as needed
  • Configures and upgrades software on newly installed devices
  • Identifies and corrects issues before a location is aware of a problem
  • Manages multiple tickets and working them in order of priority
  • Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management


Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key skills; POS, CRINDs, IT Support, Pumps
  • Experience working in a support or IT environment supporting a POS system, to include Site Server, Credit Server or other relevant systems.
  • Experience working with Fuel Controller, Pumps, and CRINDs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fix complex issues relating to the entire Business Unit.
  • Education Level: Bachelor s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
  • If Degree, preferred Major: MIS or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 3 years working with POS systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
  • High level of organization
  • Experience maintaining and enhancing a Point of Sale system.
  • Familiarity with POS data and functions; items, barcode, sales, voids, promotions, specials, discounts, methods of payment, electronic journaling, taxes, etc.
  • Test new hardware and software and recommend changes as needed.
  • Responsible for providing advanced support on escalated calls from Store Support relating to hardware and/or software issues.
  • Must be extremely organized and motivated.
  • Must work with a sense of urgency.
  • Work extremely effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Must have a passion for quality control.
  • Experience with POS systems.
  • Experience with Gilbarco/Wayne Pumps and CRINDs
