Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager/Scrum Master to lead enterprise-level manufacturing operations initiatives for a global automotive company. This role requires a strong background in Siemens Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), and hands-on experience in large-scale project execution within manufacturing or automotive environments.

Required Experience:
  • Experience working on enterprise-level project management and large-scale project execution.
  • Proficiency in Siemens Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), specifically OpCenter Intelligence.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to engage and collaborate directly with functional business stakeholders.
    • Siemens MOM Implementation: Experience in the implementation and configuration of Siemens MOM.
    • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting, and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams.
    • System Analysis: Analyze information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems.
    • Consultation: Consult with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces.
    • Domain Knowledge: Possesses domain knowledge in manufacturing and/or supply chain.
    • Team Leadership & Performance Management: Manage the third-party system integration team, ensuring effective execution of the backlog, bug fixing, system testing, technical documentation creation, and prompt problem-solving. Drive team performance to ensure peak efficiency and adherence to timelines.
  • Siemens MOM Background:
    • Background in Siemens MOM, including OpCenter, Mendix, APS, Connect MOM, and OpCenter Intelligence.
    • Technical Issue Resolution: Work with customers or departments on technical issues, including system design and maintenance.
    • Agile Methodology & Metrics Management: Ensure strong Agile practices are followed, manage the team's velocity, and track key metrics, including sprint progress, backlog health, interrupt buffer, emergent work buffer, and delivery efficiency. Ensure smooth workflow and continuous improvement.
    • Collaboration with Functional Leaders: Work closely with functional area leads to intake and prioritize their backlogs, ensuring the development team meets their needs. Guide on optimizing backlog priorities to meet organizational goals and KPIs.
    • Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution: Own the resolution of critical issues and blockers within the team, ensuring focus on delivering high-priority work. Proactively address bottlenecks and escalate issues as necessary.
    • Backlog & Task Management: Oversee the management of the integration team's backlog, ensuring well-defined and properly prioritized work items. Facilitate backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions with key stakeholders to align the team with business priorities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience and understanding of the automotive Industry or Manufacturing is generally preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree is a must.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Project management
  • Battery experience is a plus to have.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in OP monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
