Position Information
The Human Resources Department is seeking an Information Technology Specialist who excels in customer service and problem-solving. This individual will support HR departmental operations, including onboarding new hires, processing network access requests, telecom access requests, technical equipment setup and implementation, and software upgrades. This individual will also assist the Senior IT Specialist in leveraging technology to improve human resources functions and employee experiences by providing technical support for Countywide and human resource software applications, including the County's online applicant tracking system, CivicPlus governmental communication system, and the Workday ERP SaaS platform for benefits, payroll, and performance management. Other job duties will include assisting with ongoing projects such as the digitization of official personnel files and directory file restructure.

The ideal candidate will have experience performing system implementation, upgrades, and integrations, preferably in an HRIS environment, as well as excellent analytical and project management skills and a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and identify technical solutions. The eligible list established as a result of this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies as they arise countywide.
