RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Altamonte Springs, FL that is seeking a Data Engineer to support a high-impact initiative focused on building out our net revenue reporting infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work independently, and brings strong experience in SQL, Snowflake, and Epic data structures. The Data Engineer will be working closely with an entry-level Analyst to accelerate project delivery and help establish a scalable data foundation. This is a hands-on role with a strong emphasis on data modeling, ETL development, and financial/revenue cycle reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement data models to support financial and revenue cycle reporting
* Develop and optimize SQL queries across Snowflake and Epic Clarity/Caboodle tables
* Assist in building the foundational data infrastructure for net revenue reporting
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable data solutions
* Mentor and support a junior analyst to ensure project momentum
* Participate in the initial vetting and setup of Snowflake and ETL pipelines
* Work with Qlik for reporting and dashboarding (experience preferred but not required)
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-5 years of experience in a data analyst or data engineering role
* Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake
* Hands-on experience navigating Epic data models (Clarity/Caboodle)
* Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment
* Experience with data modeling and building reporting infrastructure
* Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline development
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Qlik or similar BI tools
* Background in healthcare finance or revenue cycle analytics
* Prior experience in a hybrid or remote work setting
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
