Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to enhance the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our Salesforce DevOps ecosystem. This role involves leading the optimization of CI/CD pipelines using Copado CI/CD, Copado CRT, and Azure DevOps, while proactively resolving deployment challenges and driving automation. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in collaborative environments and is passionate about streamlining systems and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess and enhance existing DevOps practices across the Salesforce platform
- Configure, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Copado CI/CD, Copado CRT, and Azure DevOps
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues to ensure timely and reliable releases
- Implement release automation, rollback strategies, version control integrations, and branching models
- Collaborate with development, QA, product, and operations teams across all environments (Dev, QA, SIT, UAT, Prod)
- Identify automation opportunities and develop scripts/tools to reduce manual effort
- Integrate automated testing into deployment workflows to ensure release quality
- Monitor DevOps performance metrics and ensure alignment with organizational standards
- Manage sandbox environments, including refreshes, compliance automation, and seed data loading
- Handle complex Salesforce metadata structures and CPQ-specific deployment strategies
- Partner with security and compliance teams to uphold governance and audit standards
- Advocate for DevOps best practices and foster collaboration between development and operations
- Recommend tooling improvements to enhance scalability and efficiency
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and Salesforce DevOps innovations
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 6+ years in DevOps or release engineering, including 3+ years supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Strong Salesforce development skills: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, Workflows)
- Deep understanding of Salesforce metadata and CPQ dependencies
- Proven experience in deployment automation and rollback strategies
- Hands-on expertise with Copado CI/CD and Copado CRT
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps and Git-based version control
- Experience managing sandbox environments and ensuring compliance
- Ability to lead initiatives independently and drive process improvements
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Relevant certifications:
- Copado: Fundamentals I & II, Developer, Consultant
- Salesforce: Platform Developer I, Administrator, App Builder
- Experience with backup/recovery tools like Own Backup
- Agile delivery experience with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with additional DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gearset, Selenium)
- Knowledge of monitoring strategies to improve deployment observability
