Job Details

    • QUALIFICATIONS:
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
      • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.
      • Proven experience as a Data Center Engineer or similar role.
      • In-depth knowledge of data center management and best practices.
      • Hands-on experience with server hardware (e.g., Dell, HP, Cisco), storage systems, and networking equipment.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Server+, etc.) are a plus.

What will you be doing?

As a Data Center Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and operation of the customer data center infrastructure. You will ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of our servers, networking equipment, and related systems. Your technical expertise will be crucial in implementing and maintaining data center hardware and software.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of data center equipment including servers, storage devices, and networking devices.
  • Support virtualization technologies, such as Nutanix.
  • Support Data Center compute and networking, Hyperflex, Storage, ACI, Cloud, and Automation technologies.
  • Transformation of existing infrastructure into modern solutions.
  • Monitor data center performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Implement and maintain data center security measures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as industry standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • Perform routine audits of systems and software.
  • Maintain documentation of data center processes and procedures.
  • Participate in capacity planning and expansion projects.
  • Provide 24/7 support for critical infrastructure issues.
