Role: Release Engineer
Location: Remote

Job Description:-
· Release & Project Management: Experience managing release lifecycles, coordinating multiple applications and portfolios. Including on call support.
· Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile frameworks.
· Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work with development, QA, operations, and business teams.
· Technical Knowledge:
o Familiarity with Azure DevOps and/or TFS administration.
o Hands-on experience with build and release pipelines.
· Leadership: Leading technical teams and managing dependencies.
· Communication & Documentation: Clear communication of release schedules, risks, and readiness.
· Risk Management: Ability to anticipate and mitigate risks during release cycles.
From external sources:
· Project Management & Organization: Planning, scheduling, and tracking releases using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
· Technical Proficiency: Understanding CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automation tools.
· Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, adaptability, analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Enterprise & Industry Recommendations:
· Pipeline CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
· Project Management: ADO for tracking releases and dependencies.
· Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (for modern deployment environments).
· Monitoring & Analytics: Tools for performance and release health checks.
· Collaboration Platforms: Teams, Confluence for documentation and communication.
· Change & Incident Management: ServiceNow or similar platforms for managing change requests.
· Orchestration: Digital Ai intelligence
· Others: Visual Code & Visual Studio for merges, PowerShell, Terraform for IaC (Infrastructure as Code)

Preferred Qualifications:-
· Education: Bachelor’s in computer science, IT, or related field.
· Certifications: Agile, Scrum Master, ITIL (often preferred for senior roles).
· Experience: 2–10 years depending on level (Release Manager I–IV).
