Job Description
InfusionPoints Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team manages, builds, and migrates applications, software, and services to Cloud for highly regulated environments. The ideal candidate ensures that solutions are designed for successful deployment in the Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) with a strong emphasis on compliance, security, governance, maintainability, scalability, cost efficiency, and business continuity. This role involves managing infrastructure created with the tools listed below, planning for upgrades, monthly scanning and patching, creating and executing change tickets, and collaborating closely with engineering, compliance, and change management teams. The position also includes on-call responsibilities to support and troubleshoot IaaS/PaaS/SaaS environments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute implementation plans in Google Cloud Platform using a variety of Google Cloud Platform-native services
  • Attain proficiency with existing Terraform, Packer, BASH, Python scripts, PowerShell, Jenkins, GitHub, and Ansible
  • Support and maintain integrations between Google Cloud Platform and AWS
  • Develop strong cloud infrastructure troubleshooting skills
  • Ensure security and compliance in line with regulated industry standards (e.g., FedRAMP, PCI, HIPAA)
  • Utilize monitoring tools such as Stackdriver (now part of Cloud Operations Suite), Grafana, Prometheus, and PagerDuty
  • Work with security tools such as Prisma Cloud (Twistlock) and Tenable Nessus

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and expand technical knowledge base
  • Real-world Google Cloud Platform production experience, including implementation in regulated environments
  • Experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems in regulated environments
  • Familiarity with core Google Cloud Platform services, such as:
    • Google Cloud Platform Resource Manager and IAM
    • VPC networking and firewall rules
    • Cloud Monitoring and Logging
    • Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and GKE
    • Cloud Storage and BigQuery
  • Understanding of NIST and DoD security frameworks
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, and open to knowledge sharing

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Google Cloud Platform certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Associate Cloud Engineer) preferred but not required
