Description
We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team in Malvern, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale Azure solutions while ensuring adherence to best practices in architecture, security, and operational efficiency. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to cloud infrastructure maturity and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Design and manage Azure solutions that align with industry best practices and meet organizational needs.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure cloud solutions effectively support business objectives.
Lead efforts to migrate on-premises infrastructure to Azure, optimizing performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Monitor system performance and ensure a high-quality experience for internal and external users.
Implement robust security measures to safeguard cloud services and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Continuously analyze cloud environments, recommend optimizations, and manage cost efficiency.
Develop and enforce best practices for Microsoft Entra ID and Azure PaaS/IaaS services to support IT and cloud maturity.
Create and test resilience and recovery plans to ensure business continuity during outages.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues to minimize downtime and optimize operations.
Automate processes using tools like Azure Automation, PowerShell, and PowerAutomate to enhance efficiency.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure, with expertise in enforcing best practices.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and Azure Resource Manager templates.
Strong knowledge of Azure security tools like Azure Key Vault and Azure Security Center, with expertise in implementing security standards.
Experience in hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises Active Directory with Azure AD.
Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell or Python for automation and infrastructure management.
Solid understanding of cloud networking, including virtual networks, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.
Familiarity with both Linux and Windows operating systems in Azure environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience; Azure certifications are highly desirable.
