Akkodis is seeking an Operator II for a Direct Hire with a client in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidatewilloperate and maintain production equipment to assemble, inspect, and package products according to quality and safety standards.

Salary Range: $48,686 K/Year to $48,686 K /Year

Operator II job responsibilities include:

• Set up and operate production equipment to assemble, inspect, and package products according to specifications.
• Perform in-process and finished goods inspections to ensure product quality and compliance with standards.
• Maintain and clean equipment, performing basic repairs and notifying maintenance of malfunctions.
• Prepare accurate documentation related to quality checks, work progress, and test results.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor production issues, recommending workflow improvements for efficiency.
• Participate in cross-training to perform multiple functions within the work center and support team flexibility.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3+ years in a manufacturing or operations environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to set up, operate, and maintain production equipment.
• Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with experience in quality inspection and workflow improvement.
