Job Details

Hiring: W2 Candidates Only

Visa: Open to any visa type with valid work authorization in the USA

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports

  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions

  • Create data models, relationships, and calculated measures using DAX

  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query

  • Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy

  • Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources (SQL Server, Excel, Azure, APIs, etc.)

  • Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage data access

  • Maintain and enhance existing BI reports and dashboards

  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders

  • Document BI solutions and provide end-user support and training


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

  • 7+ years of experience in Power BI development

  • Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling

  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases

  • Experience with data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Azure services (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory)

  • Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis

  • Experience with Power BI Service, gateways, and deployment pipelines

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
