Sr. Oracle Cloud Data Engineer

Role: Sr. Oracle Cloud Data Engineer

Location: Daytona Beach, FL (2/3 days onsite a week from Day 1)

Duration: 6+ months

Candidate should have good working experience in ODI and Strong in Data warehousing Concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand data integration and analytics requirements.
• Very Strong in Data Warehousing Concepts and hands on implementation experience.
• Develop and articulate a data strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.
• Define and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
• Establish and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and data management policies.
• Design and develop data models that represent the organization's data entities, relationships, and attributes.
• Work closely with application developers to ensure that data architectures support application requirements.
• Design and implement Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) solutions to streamline and optimize data workflows.
• Develop and maintain Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL/ELT) processes using ODI for efficient data movement.
• Integrate Oracle Data Warehouse (ADW) solutions to support business intelligence and analytics requirements.
• Implement and customize Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) solutions for advanced reporting and visualization.
• Collaborate with database administrators and other technical teams to ensure seamless integration with Oracle ADW.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and analytics, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ODI and OAC processes for improved efficiency.
• Implement and enforce data governance and security policies within ODI, ADW, and OAC environments.
• Provide technical expertise and support during the entire data integration and analytics project lifecycle.

Requirement:

• Proven experience as an Oracle Data Architect.
• Expertise in data modeling concepts and tools, such as ERwin, Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler, or similar.
• Experience designing and implementing data warehouses and data marts using Oracle technologies (Oracle ADW, Oracle Data Integrator, etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and database monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with data security and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Oracle certifications are a plus.
