This is currently a remote position but could become hybrid and require some time in the main office. Specific days will be negotiated at that time.

Job Description
Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.

The candidate must have experience implementing PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules and must excel in gathering requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, and mapping data to and from legacy systems and third-party interface systems. The candidate must have hands-on experience implementing PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules as a "functional business analyst, as well as core business analyst skills, including conducting meetings to identify requirements, system documentation, and performing end-to-end system testing. Other duties may be assigned based on project needs, and some off-hours may be required depending on the project phase.
The qualified candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a large remote team.
Other duties include documentation, performing hands-on system testing, supporting training efforts, and other project tasks as needed. Some off-hours may be required depending on the project phase.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience as a business analyst with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2. (8 years required)
- Experience as a business analyst, specifically in Accounts Receivable and Billing module implementations. (8 years required)
- Experience as a business analyst in gathering requirements and conducting fit/gap analysis with subject matter experts. (8 years required)
- Experience in performing hands-on end-to-end system integration testing with third-party interfaces. (8 years required)
- Experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) (at least 4) (8 years required)
- Experience working with MS Teams in a large team setting. (at least 2) (8 years required)
- Experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government) (4 years preferred)
- Experience as a business analyst in General Ledger (2 years preferred)
- Experience working with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials system (2 years preferred)
- Experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) (2 years preferred)
- Experience with SharePoint (2 years preferred)
- Experience with Jira (1 years preferred)
- Experience working with the Scrum framework (1 years preferred)
