RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a remote Manager, SAP Production Planning to join their team in NYC.
Summary:
We are seeking a forward-thinking SAP professional to join our team in the SAP Manufacturing domain within the Core Supply Chain team. Collaborating with external clients and internal teams, you will use your strong proficiency in SAP technology to help clients achieve improved outcomes and lasting results. On your typical engagement, you will work with the key stakeholders to understand their needs and advise on SAP system capabilities in the manufacturing and quality management space. You will initiate the requirement gathering, design solutions, blueprinting, testing, complete the workflow and documentation, as well as the functional design of the solution.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and design workshops in the manufacturing space and help gather requirements and propose S/4 HANA best practices for our clients and take the designed solution live within their SAP environments
* Oversee a mix of offshore and onshore team members, ensuring timely delivery of project outcomes and adherence to implementation timelines
* Demonstrate in-depth functional capabilities in the SAP Manufacturing area and possess strong business acumen
* Lead and deliver quality SAP projects or workstreams
* Ensure high-quality client service, track project milestones, manage risks, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders on progress and outcomes
* Build and maintain relationships with key client personnel at relevant levels
* Liaise with the stakeholders and technical team to translate needs into business solutions and complete the configurations, customizations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of related work experience within the manufacturing business area
* 3+ years of experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or SAP S/4 HANA, particularly in the Production Planning (PP) module
* A proven track record of leading teams to delivery project deliverable within critical deadlines
* Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project-based team members in the manufacturing space
* Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills
* Insight into best practices, benchmarking, peer company environments, and previous advisory roles pertinent to industry-specific production, quality management, and technology functions
* A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; Travel is estimated at 40-60%
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
