Akkodis is seeking an IT and Finance professional for a full time direct hire Sr. Manager/Business Process Leader opportunity near Cleveland, OH to lead the SAP Record-to-Report process for Accounting/Finance. Qualified candidates will have 10+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance and IT, including SAP and Record-to-Report.

Salary Range: $130-145K plus bonus and excellent benefits

Business Process Leaderjob responsibilities include:

With a global view, lead the organization to the best end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) processes and practices by identifying areas for improvement (business inefficiencies, process governance issues, process gaps, etc.)

Translate business strategies and requirements into process requirements for determining appropriate solutions, and functional/technical designs.

Analyzing and evaluating existing financial processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process enhancements.

Developing and implementing financial business processes, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Lead process change and integration by provided leadership, discipline, education, and direction for business process improvement.

Providing guidance and support to finance teams in implementing best practices and standardizing processes.

Be familiar with manufacturing industry use cases, business processes, vendors, IT landscapes, and architecture associated with Record-to-Report processes.

Lead the development of business cases to articulate how the value of the improvements and opportunities aligns with business vision, strategy, and desired outcomes.

Collaborate with the IT Team regarding process improvement initiatives.

Communicate RTR process improvement strategy, goals, benefits, and successes.

Manage daily "how to" and "why" questions.

Continue to learn and pursue educational opportunities to remain current in emerging RTR processes, technologies, and concepts.

Interface with other key processes (Plan-to-Manufacture, Order-to-Cash, and Procure-to-Pay) colleagues and impacted stakeholders to support cross regional and cross business alignment.

Facilitate and participate in roadmap development and portfolio management for process improvements.

Serve as the primary monitor of Segregation of Duty risks and advise other Business Process Leaders on these matters.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university

10+ years of experience within IT and Finance/Accounting, including strong knowledge in the SAP Record-to-Report process (Corporate Accounting, Operations Finance, Segment Finance, Tax, Treasury, Audit)

Must have experience with a large company of $1 Billion in revenue or more

Proven experience with a focus on process improvement and optimization

Proficient in end-to-end process design/development and integration with cross-functional areas of SAP (Order-To-Cash, Plan-To-Manufacture, and Procure-To-Pay)

SAP implementation experience is a big plus

SAP S/4HANA and ECC functional and technical experience is a plus

Experience in a global manufacturing company is preferred

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose effective solutions.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Willing to travel on a project basis - up to 25% per year some years
