Job Details
We are seeking a senior-level AWS Developer specializing in compliance to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for an individual contributor who thrives on independence and is capable of handling high-visibility projects with minimal oversight. The successful candidate will focus on auditing both administrative and developer-level access capabilities and usage within AWS environments. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for a balance between office presence and remote work flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex features to audit AWS usage using AWS native tooling.
- Develop comprehensive requirements and design solutions aligned with a compliance-focused roadmap.
- Produce management-level reporting for internal audit stakeholders and platform engineering teams.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, and Serverless framework to manage AWS resources efficiently.
- Develop and maintain scripts and applications in programming languages such as Typescript and Python to automate compliance processes.
- Create and present detailed reports showcasing the value of implemented compliance measures.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SES, S3, IAM, and CloudTrail.
- Proficient in using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Serverless frameworks for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementations.
- Strong programming skills in Typescript and Python.
- Experience in building and presenting management-level reports.
- Understanding of work management tools such as Jira or similar for project tracking.
- Advanced SQL skills for crafting complex queries.
- Knowledge of analytics and reporting tools such as Apache Superset or PowerBI is preferred.
- Experience with other cloud platforms like Azure or GCP is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay Range: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
