Sr. Azure Data Developer (Azure Services Fabrics)

We are looking for a SQL Server BI Developer to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. SQL Server BI Developer: designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions, crafting and executing queries upon request for data, as well as presenting information through reports and visualization

Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs to technical specifications
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
• Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
• Develop and update technical documentation

Requirements

• 9-10 years of Proven experience as a BI Developer with data warehouse development and design (e.g. dimensional modeling using Medallion Architecture) and data mining
• Microsoft Power BI Suite, including SSAS, SSIS and SSRS / deploying and supporting production environment

• 1 year of Azure Service Fabrics experience required
• Solid knowledge of PySpark, SQL, KQL
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
• Proven ability to take initiative and be innovative
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
