RightFax Engineer

Summary:
The RightFax Engineer is responsible for the administration and support of the organization's RightFax environment. This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of RightFax systems, as well as providing technical support to users and troubleshooting issues.
Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Configuration:
    • Install, configure, and maintain RightFax servers, clients, and related software.
    • Integrate RightFax with other systems, such as email servers, MFPs (Multi-Function Printers), and EMR/EHR (Electronic Medical Records/Electronic Health Records) systems.
    • Configure and manage RightFax routing rules, security settings, and user permissions.
  • System Maintenance and Monitoring:
    • Perform regular system maintenance, including updates, patches, and backups.
    • Monitor RightFax system performance and troubleshoot issues.
    • Ensure system availability and reliability.
    • Perform system upgrades.
  • Troubleshooting and Support:
    • Provide technical support to users, resolving RightFax-related issues.
    • Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
    • Document troubleshooting procedures and solutions.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as HIPAA and PCI DSS.
    • Perform security audits and assessments.
  • Documentation:
    • Create and maintain accurate documentation of RightFax system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Work with RightFax vendors for support and issue resolution.
Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of RightFax architecture and functionality.
  • Experience with RightFax installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems.
  • Experience with network protocols and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with integrations with EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
  • Experience with integrations with MFP devices is a plus.
