Position Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Calhan, Colorado

Anticipated Start Date: 29th - April - 2024

Expected Duration: 24 months contract

Pay Range: $20.39/hr - $26.69/hr

Description:
* Processing of monthly working files for invoice submissions
* Update internal systems with financial data
* Participate in financial audits
* Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
* Keep accurate records for all fleet and financial decisions
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills
* Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
* Advanced MS Excel skills
* Advanced Access Database skills
* Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
* Preparing and monitoring budgets and financial forecasts
* Updating internal systems; reconciliation of fleet
* Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior leadership
* Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
* Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc

Responsibilities:
Provides moderately complex financial analysis that is either transactional or analytical for a financial function or a business.
Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to actively ensure financial analysis needs are met.Handles more complex business issues.
Provides analytics to business initiatives.
Develops a deeper understanding of financial processes and a detailed knowledge of the business.

Education and Experience Required:
First level university degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience.
Typically 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
May have experience in more than one finance function.
Knowledge and Skills: Basic understanding of accounting processes and principles.
Good analytical skills.
Good business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
Good communication skills.Good teamwork skills.
