Project Manager 2

Location: Austin, TX (Onsite only Local candidates required)

We re seeking a skilled Project Manager (PMP certified) to lead the PEMS Plus Credentialing Project
This project focuses on integrating the credentialing process into the Provider Enrollment and Management System (PEMS) to streamline provider enrollment and reduce administrative overhead for Medicaid and CHIP providers.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead and manage the integration of MCO/DMO credentialing into PEMS.
Coordinate with PEMS Sprint Teams, Provider Services, and governance committees.
Develop and maintain integrated project timelines.
Oversee dependencies, risks, and testing plans across multiple stakeholders.
Facilitate meetings, track deliverables, and communicate project updates to leadership.
Ensure compliance with state and federal directives.


Required Skills & Experience:


7+ years of IT Project Management (system integration, vendor management, Medicaid Enterprise Systems).
Strong background in Medicaid business operations & MMIS.
Proven success in overseeing large-scale IT projects and managing tight deadlines.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite & Project Management tools.
PMP certification required (Scrum Master preferred).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

No remote option.


Only Texas local candidates will be considered.
