Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead IT integration activities for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects. The ideal candidate will plan, manage, and deliver seamless IT integrations between merging organizations, ensuring minimal operational disruption and alignment with strategic objectives. This role requires expertise in managing complex IT projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Integration Planning & Execution
- Develop and maintain detailed IT integration plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Oversee seamless integration of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business units, IT teams, and M&A stakeholders to align IT strategies with business goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT activities during the M&A process.
Project Management
- Execute PMLC activities, track project progress, manage risks, and communicate status.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure IT integration deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support change management activities related to IT integration.
Post-Integration Support
- Monitor performance of integrated IT systems and address issues post-integration.
- Conduct post-mortem evaluations to capture lessons learned and improvement opportunities.
Technical Qualifications:
- 12+ years of IT project management experience, with M&A or IT integration focus.
- 3+ years of experience in Commercial Insurance.
- Strong knowledge of project management (PMLC), SDLC, and integration methodologies.
- Skilled in waterfall, agile, and hybrid project-delivery approaches.
- Experience managing large-scale IT integrations across multiple regions or business units.
- Familiarity with AI-based solutions, data pipelines, and IT infrastructure.
- Proficiency with Project and Portfolio Management tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to bridge business and IT priorities.
Education:
- B.A./B.S. degree required.
- PMP certification is a plus.
