Job Details
A Supply Chain Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and supporting supply chain processes through data-driven insights, ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration. They bridge business needs with technical solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to capture specifications for supply chain projects and process changes.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in procurement, logistics, vendor operations, and product flow; recommend improvements.
- ERP & Systems Expertise: Provide configuration and support for ERP systems (commonly SAP MM), including master data, pricing, EDI, and third-party interfaces.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and measure performance against KPIs.
- Project Leadership: Lead workflow-related projects through requirements analysis, design, development, and deployment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, IT, logistics, and vendor teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with quality standards.
- Documentation & Training: Develop functional specifications, training materials, and process documentation for end-users.
