Job Details

Role: HR Generalist

Working hours: Part-time (20-30 hours per week)

Location: Herndon, VA (should be able to come in as needed)

Open for C2C, 1099 and W2

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate new hire training programs, facilitate workshops and support employee professional development
  • Communicate company policies, benefits, updates and important information to employees
  • Manage HR documents and folders
  • Update HR processes, procedures and policies as necessary
  • Manage global organization charts
  • Assist with preparation and review of updated oversee Handbooks / Forms etc.
  • Handle documentation required for H1 extensions, H1 transfers, processes or other immigration-related duties
  • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, investigate complaints and foster positive employee relations
  • Ensure adherence to all federal, state and local employment laws, including maintaining employee records and updating policies as needed
  • Facilitate training regarding performance evaluations, goal setting and the quarterly check-in process for leaders
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3-5 years work experience in an Administrative and/or HR role
  • Minimum SHRM Certified Professional
  • Experience in Human Resources policies/procedures
  • Hands-on experience with handling international immigration forms and procedures ,especially H1, TN visa.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and private information with complete confidentiality and tact
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Reliable, detail-oriented and organised
  • Excellent customer service skills and follow-up with a sense of urgency
  • Strong Microsoft Office applications experience, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Willing and able to complete assigned tasks within given timeframes
