Job Details

This is advanced professional, administrative and managerial work responsible for ensuring the Town government s IT operations adhere to organizational goals, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity best practices. This position oversees the development of IT governance frameworks, implementation of cybersecurity policies, and management of risks to protect information assets and critical systems. The role involves collaboration with internal departments, external partners, and regulatory agencies to maintain secure, efficient, and transparent IT services for the community. Supervision is exercised over subordinate personnel and may perform duties of the Information Technology Director in their absence. Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. One (1) or more relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISSM, CISA, CCISO or GIAC. Five (5) years of IT governance, cybersecurity management, or a similar role. Experience implementing and managing IT governance and cybersecurity frameworks. Possession of a valid driver s license and a safe driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

Master s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology or a related field. Five (5) years of supervisory and/or management experience. Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT). ITIL Certification. Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Bilingual in English/Spanish.
